Under The Tuscan Sun
Under the Tuscan Sun is well worth watching for not only the beautiful Italian scenery but to be inspired by stating clearly to the Universe exactly what it is that you want! Diane Lane plays the recently divorced Frances who finds herself lonely and starting over. She states early on in the movie that she is wanting a family, a relationship, a house filled with laughter. Well, for those of you who follow the laws of attraction you will be smiling by the end of the movie. My top pick and favorite movie. As she seeks her way in a new country she learns that if you make room for what you want in life, you may find that your wishes come true in unexpected ways.

The Blind Side
A heartwarming true story of football player Michael Oher and his unexpected relationship with Leigh Anne Tuohy. Big Mike doesn’t know who his father is, his mother is a drug addict, and he's homeless when Leigh Anne, played by Oscar winner Sandra Bullock spots him wandering coatless on a chilly autumn night. She opens up her home and heart to him. The Blind Side shows the value of generosity and what can be accomplished when even just one person believes in you.
If you don't believe that one person can make a difference please do watch this movie and you will change the viewpoint.

The Ron Clark Story
A true story of a most intuitive, compassionate and inspiring teacher at a harlem school. Complete inspiration watching him open his heart to these under-privileged student and the different that he makes in their lives. Highly innovative teaching strategies prove to be a success when his class receive top grades, ever! A wonderful movie to show the unleashment of creative energy and what one can do with a fearless abandonment of the norm and head out into new territory. A truly inspirational story of how this teacher with the most unorthodox style of teaching was able to touch the hearts of his students to be more, achieve more and believe more.
The Holiday
Okay, a true unabashed "chick" flick but a great holiday movie to show that something better can be right around the corner. Both Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet were dating losers. When they both broke up with them let the games begin as each woman meets her rightful soulmate and finds happiness in love.
The Birdcage
A gay cabaret owner and his drag queen companion agree to put up a false straight front so that their son can introduce them to his fiancé's right-wing moralistic parents. Robin Williams and Nathan Lane will keep you laughing and Gene Hackman is brilliant as the straight state Senator who has heart once his opinions and attitudes are turned around by his pending daughter's wedding. Many laughs and great acting by some great actors.
